간이간이(Kanni Kanni 肝ぃ肝ぃ)

Let me introduce you to my new friend "간이간이"(kanni kanni). The name literally means "liver-liver" in an endearing way. Apparently she's some sort of character that was made to promote organ donation? I don't know if she's a bear? Or a she? But she's been my sleeping buddy since I got her as a gift at the transplant center. 

note from aunt: the concept of organ donation is not as wide spread in the South Korean culture. They made this character to help with raising more awareness of organ donation. 

私の新しい友達「肝ぃ肝ぃ」を紹介します。名前の意味は漢字の通り肝臓の肝をとってかわいく呼んだもの。臓器移植キャンペーンかなんかのキャラクターらしいんだけど、熊なのか、女の子なのかよくわからない不思議ちゃんです。移植センターから貰ったプレゼント。毎日一緒に寝ています。
